So we’re almost out of candy and a kiddo knocks over and shatters our decorative pot on the porch. The mom says, “um sorry” and leaves. AND WITH THAT WE ARE CLOSED FOR BUSINESS. <turning off porch light and heading to back of house.>

Ok guys, grab your popcorn and get ready for tonight’s flick, How to Train Your Dragon. The story takes place in a mythical Viking world where a young Viking teenager named “Hiccup” aspires to follow his tribe’s tradition of becoming a dragon slayer. After finally capturing his first dragon, and with his chance at finally gaining the tribe’s acceptance, he finds that he no longer has the desire to kill it and instead befriends it.
It’s been busy around here so I haven’t had time to post anything lately. Today I thought I’d post a pic of my latest project. At Advantage Publishing we’re about to roll out a new section of Cleaner Times, our pressure washing magazine, called Industrial Water Application. It will primarily deal with HIGH pressure applications (think waterjetting, blasting, cutting, cleaning). If successful, it may expand into it’s own magazine. We’re planning to test the market from within our current magazine. I’m excited to design a modern look to this trade journal.
Here are best pals, Sophie and Izzie. They will play like this literally for hours. Izzie follows Sophie around like a big sister and can’t stand it when she can’t be with her. And for the record, if someone is getting picked on, it’s Sophie. Little Izzie is relentless how she bites Sophie’s ears, paws and tail.
Well this last weekend Lucretia celebrated her birthday in grand style. She and a couple of college friends went to Dallas to see Rick Springfield in concert. Following legal advice, we can’t go into the trouble they caused, heh. Madison and I stayed busy while mom was gone by baking her a cake. We baked her a custom Rick Springfield guitar cake. I want to thank Betty Crocker for making this possible. It’s no fancy cake like the tv show “Ace of Cakes” but it sure tasted good!
